If you have bought a Diablo copy from GoG you will only have the choice of the Global Gateway, nevertheless you can still access the original Gateways: Europe, US East/West & Asia. Keep in mind that if you want to actually be able to play a game on them you will have to fix your ports, check the <Port Forwarding Guide>. If you can’t do that you can access the private server The Horadrim which allows you to play without having to fix your ports.
Step 1: Click Start and type Regedit (Registry Editor) in the search bar, open it as administrator.
Step 2: follow the given directory:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Battle.net -> Configurations
Step 3: double click on Battle.net Gateways and delete everything under Value Data.
Step 4: Copy/paste the following text depending on which Gateway you want to access:
For Global (GoG’s Battle.net) paste this:
1001
05
connect-forever.classic.blizzard.com
8
Global
For Classic (Blizzard) Battle.net paste this:
1001
05
uswest.battle.net
8
U.S. West
useast.battle.net
6
U.S. East
asia.battle.net
-9
Asia
europe.battle.net
-1
Europe
For The Horadrim (Private Server) paste this:
1001
01
th-diablo.ddns.net
1
WithPorts
th-radmin.ddns.net
1
RadminVPN
After you press OK a pop up (error message) might appear, just click OK on it.
Step 5: go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Battle.net -> D1 -> Configurations
Open Battle.net Gateways and change the text with the same one you did in Step four.
(Please note that the directory is different from Step four, this is …Battle.net -> D1 -> Configurations not …Battle.net -> Configurations)
Step 6: Enter Diablo, proceed with Battle.net and either make a new registration or log in if you have one already (each character requires its own account).
